Whether you’re counting macros or just chasing that perfect chew, I’m glad you’re here. Let’s make bubble tea feel a little more fun, a little more informed, and a lot less confusing. 🧋✨

Hi, I’m Lisa.

I’m a Brit living in New York City, and growing up, I certainly did not dream of drinking my tea cold, iced, and topped with chewy little pearls. And yet, here we are. My two teenage daughters got me hooked on bubble tea, and somewhere between the first few sips and the next round of shop visits, The Boba Club was born.

What started as a fun little habit quickly turned into real curiosity. I wanted to know what was actually in these drinks, why some tasted so much better than others, and how to enjoy them without feeling completely in the dark. I figured I could not be the only one.

I’m not here to take the fun out of it. Quite the opposite. I still want the creamy ones, the sweet ones, the chewy boba, the whole thing. But I also want the facts. So that is what you’ll find here: honest calorie breakdowns, lower-sugar swaps, homemade recipes, ingredient guides, and practical help when bubble tea menus get a bit chaotic.

I also try new flavors, break down the little details most people are wondering about, and make bubble tea feel a lot less confusing than it first seems. So whether you already know your go-to order or you are still figuring out what on earth crystal boba actually is, you’re very welcome here.

Cheers,
Lisa
