  • Green tea is light, clean, and a little grassy. It doesn’t overshadow the fruit; instead, it balances it.
  • Black tapioca pearls are the quintessential boba with that chewy, store-bought feel.
  • Add honey or sugar (optional) in just the right amount to bring out the peaches’ flavor without hiding them.
  • Ice – fruit teas are best served cold and refreshing.

Peach Green Tea Boba With Real Peaches

A peach green tea boba that is light and delicious. It is made with real peaches, green tea, and chewy tapioca pearls.

Ingredients

For the peach green tea

  • 1 green tea bag (or 1 teaspoon loose-leaf green tea)
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1/2 cup sliced peaches (fresh or frozen)
  • 1–2 teaspoons honey or sugar, to taste
  • 1-2 tbsp water for simmering the peaches

For serving

  • Ice
  • 1/4 cup cooked tapioca pearls

Instructions

  1. Brew the green tea in hot water, then let it cool slightly.
  2. Add the peaches and a small splash of water to a saucepan. Simmer gently until the peaches soften and release their juices.
  3. Lightly mash the peaches, then strain if you prefer a clearer tea.
  4. Sweeten the peach mixture to taste.
  5. Combine the cooled green tea with the peach mixture and stir well.
  6. Fill a glass with ice, add cooked boba pearls, then pour the peach green tea over the top.
  7. Stir gently and serve immediately.

Notes

It doesn't have to be peach season to make this. You can prepare this recipe any time of year because frozen peaches work great too. Add boba first, then adjust the amount of sweetener to taste.
